If you’re like me, post the holiday break, you’re officially in the 2018 ‘goal setting’ mode. On the professional side, I started by searching on the internet to see which 2018 Analytics, Business Intelligence, and (more recently) Artificial Intelligence predictions were trending! What I found was 20+ google pages of articles from vendors, bloggers, and very questionable sources. It seems like predictions have become a trend!
Happy New Year AOF community! To kick off 2018, like many of you, I scoured the internet to see what analytics predictions and trends were being discussed. After reviewing 80+ predictions (some good, some bad) from top news sites & influencers, two things are clear. One. Artificial Intelligence is the new Business Intelligence. Companies will either embrace it or get left behind. Two. The ability to tell visual stories is now required to ensure the success of future AI/BI projects.
